Art Projects for Kids

Pasta for hair? A comb for a moustache?   I did this activity with over 100 kindergarten students.  I thoroughly enjoyed the activity because it allows each student to create their own personal work of art.  After reading the story and discussing the pictures, students were given a bowl filled with a huge variety of supplies.

Literally anything will work and the more materials the better.  They each then created a face using the supplies.  I used hot pot stands for my faces only because I had enough, but a simple circle on paper would also work.  The faces that students came up with were so creative and original.
